SME IPO Lot Size Calculator

Work out the value of one SME IPO lot and how many lots your budget can buy. SME IPOs (listed on NSE Emerge or BSE SME) use much larger lot sizes than mainboard IPOs, since SEBI requires a higher minimum application value — see our SME vs Mainboard comparison for the full rule set.

Value per Lot

₹1,44,000

SME lot sizes are set by the issuer so one lot's value clears SEBI's minimum application threshold — typically far larger than a mainboard IPO's lot value.

SEBI requires the SME issuer to set lot size so the minimum application value is at least ₹2,00,000 (raised from ₹1,00,000 in 2025). A real SME IPO's lot size will be set higher than this — check the RHP for the exact figure.

How the SME IPO Lot Size Calculator works

Lot value = price per share × lot size. Unlike a mainboard IPO, an SME issuer sets the lot size specifically so that one lot's value clears SEBI's minimum SME application threshold — currently ₹2,00,000, raised from ₹1,00,000 through SEBI's 2024 SME-listing framework review (finalised in amendments effective 2025). That is why SME lot sizes look unusually large compared to mainboard IPOs at a similar price.
