Bonus Share / Stock Split Adjusted Price Calculator
Calculate your new share count and the price-adjusted-for-dilution figure after a bonus issue or a stock split. Toggle between the two — both redistribute the same total value over more shares, just via different mechanics.

Bonus shares don't add value — they redistribute the same market capitalisation over more shares, so the price adjusts down proportionately.

How the Bonus Share / Stock Split Adjusted Price Calculator works
A bonus issuegives existing shareholders additional free shares in a fixed ratio (e.g. “1:2” = 1 new share for every 2 held) — it doesn't change the company's market capitalisation or the face value of each share, so the market price adjusts down proportionately to keep your total holding value unchanged.
A stock split reduces the face value of each share (e.g. from ₹10 to ₹2, a 5-for-1 split) and proportionately increases the number of shares you hold — again, market capitalisation and your total holding value are unaffected; only the number of shares and per-share price change.
Both are cosmetic restructurings of the same total value, often used to improve a stock's liquidity and make individual shares more affordable to smaller investors — neither event, by itself, changes the underlying business or your proportional ownership stake.
