How to check Jio IPO allotment status
You can check on the registrar's site, on BSE, or in your broker app. NSE has no allotment checker. Keep your PAN or application number and your demat DP ID and client ID ready. Results appear only after the basis of allotment is final, so an empty result early on 26 October does not mean you missed out.
On KFin Technologies (registrar)
- Open the IPO allotment status page on the KFin site: ipostatus.kfintech.com.
- Select the Jio issue from the list of companies.
- Choose how to search: PAN, application number or demat account details.
- Enter the value, complete the captcha and submit.
- The page shows the number of shares applied for and allotted.
On BSE
- Open the BSE allotment status page: bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.
- Choose the issue type as equity.
- Select the Jio issue name.
- Enter your application number or PAN and complete the captcha.
- Click search to see the status.
On your broker app
Most broker apps list your IPO bid under an orders or IPO section and update it after the basis of allotment. The registrar and exchange pages are the source of truth. If the app and the registrar disagree, trust the registrar and ask your broker.
NSE publishes the live bid and subscription data on its issue information page.

What you get in each category
The RHP sets different rules for each type of bidder (RHP p. 529 to 531):
| Category | How allotment works |
|---|---|
| Retail (bids up to ₹200,000) | Allotment to each retail investor is not less than the minimum bid lot, subject to the rules in the RHP. The lot is 12 shares (NSE issue information page: bid lot 12 shares and in multiples of 12, minimum order 12 shares). |
| Eligible RIL shareholders | Proportionate, subject to the minimum bid lot and availability of shares in the reservation. Bids are capped at ₹200,000. |
| Eligible employees | Proportionate. Employees can bid up to ₹500,000, net of the employee discount, with caps set out in the RHP. |
If you bid in the RIL shareholder or employee category, check the status the same way. Your PAN must match the category you applied under. For eligibility, see our explainer on the RIL shareholder reservation.
If you are not allotted shares
Not getting shares is common when an issue is oversubscribed. Nothing is charged: the amount stays blocked in your bank account only until the bid is settled.
- Funds for non-allotted or partly allotted bids are due to be unblocked on or about Tuesday 27 October 2026 (RHP p. 524).
- If your bank or broker delays the unblocking by more than two working days from the closing date, the RHP provides compensation of ₹100 per day or 15% per annum of the bid amount, whichever is higher, payable by the intermediary at fault (RHP p. 524 to 525).
- Shares you are allotted are credited to your demat account on or about the same day.
Complaints about a delay go first to your bank or broker, then to KFin Technologies.
After allotment
Trading is due to start on or about Wednesday 28 October 2026. If you were allotted shares and want to see how a given listing price changes your result, try the IPO listing gain calculator. It uses numbers you enter, not a forecast.
